This site has been created and funded by John Sewell and Alan Broadbent,
and is managed by John Sewell.
The purposes of site are:
- To focus debate on the need to give local communities more autonomy
and self government.
- To publish good information and research on the issue.
- To encourage public debate, and to provide an opportunity for the
many different groups and individuals interested in local self government
and autonomy to share information and strategies, and support each other,
while allowing them to maintain their own independence.
- To help local communities achieve more autonomy.
The site functions in English. Postings in other languages, when they
are made, will be accompanied by a short explanatory paragraph in English.
